McCain Fundraisers Now Open to Press

It's very interesting how McCain is willing to let the press into his fundraisers now that Bush isn't there.

Just another acknowledgement that Bush is political poison in any capacity but as a fund raiser.

A few weeks ago McCain had a couple of fund raisers (one of which was in Utah) and at which Bush was the main attraction. Some estimates put the amount of money raised at these as high as $3.5 million.

Interestingly, the press was banned at these events.

No pictures of Bush and McCain loving on each other.

No reports of the mutual slobberfest going on.

Now that Bush isn't there the Straight Talk Express is rolling again (The BS Express is more like it).

Oh John, which is the real you? The Bush cronie and wannabe or the man we all liked back before 2000 and the backbone removal surgery?
